We did not create Campo Sasso simply as a place to stay. We created it as a place from which to share the Tuscany that has shaped our family and our work: its wines, cheeses, olive groves, artisans, landscapes and, above all, its people.
Here, you can enjoy the privacy and freedom of your own Tuscan farmhouse while discovering the places, flavours and relationships we have gathered through more than twenty years of life in Tuscany.

Where Tuscany Becomes Home
Set in a peaceful green valley within the Chianti Classico region, Campo Sasso is a restored stone farmhouse designed for guests who value privacy, comfort and time.
Three en-suite bedrooms accommodate up to six guests, while the generous kitchen, garden, outdoor dining area and jacuzzi create a home in which to cook, gather, rest and enjoy the changing rhythm of the Tuscan countryside.

Campo Sasso is a private three-bedroom farmhouse in the Chianti Classico countryside, approximately 35 minutes from downtown Florence. Rented exclusively as an entire home for up to six guests, it combines the independence of a private Tuscan villa with the warmth and character of a traditional country house.
The property is a carefully restored Tuscan colonica — the stone farmhouse that once stood at the heart of a rural estate. Its original agricultural character has been preserved while introducing the comfort expected from a contemporary holiday home.

The upper floor has three spacious bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, air conditioning and its own private bathroom. On the ground floor, a generous kitchen, dining area and living room create a convivial space for cooking, sharing meals and spending time together. The house is designed to feel lived in and welcoming, rather than formal or hotel-like.
Indoor and outdoor living
Outside, guests can enjoy a large private garden with mature olive and fruit trees, a covered dining area, a grill and a jacuzzi. The house lies in a quiet natural valley bordered by the Ema stream, surrounded by the landscapes of Chianti Classico.
Campo Sasso offers genuine countryside tranquillity without being isolated. The village of San Polo in Chianti, with its market, café, pharmacy and essential services, is only a few minutes away, while Florence can be reached in approximately 35 minutes. A car is required to reach the property and to explore the surrounding area freely.
A Private Home, Not a Hotel
Campo Sasso is offered exclusively as a private whole-house stay for up to six guests. Designed for couples, families or friends travelling together, it provides the freedom to follow your own rhythm, share meaningful moments and experience Tuscany beyond a conventional holiday.
A minimum stay of five nights gives you time to explore Florence and Chianti Classico without rushing — while still enjoying the simple pleasures of life at Campo Sasso: cooking together, gathering around the table, relaxing in the garden and slowing down in the Tuscan countryside.
For guests who would like additional comfort, a selection of optional services can be arranged, including daily housekeeping, in-house chef services and personalised assistance in planning food, wine and local experiences. These services are available upon request and at an additional cost, allowing each stay to combine the privacy of a private home with the level of support guests prefer.

What Makes Campo Sasso Unique
Campo Sasso is where Pierre and Rebecca’s vision of Tuscany becomes hospitality. Created after more than twenty years of living and working in the region, it invites guests into the world they have built through wine, artisan food, agriculture and long-standing relationships with local producers.

The experience begins at Campo Sasso itself. In its underground cellars, Pierre matures selected artisan cheeses for Formaggioteca Terroir. In the agroforestry vineyard, different grape varieties grow among olive and fruit trees, offering a contemporary interpretation of Tuscany’s traditional coltura promiscua. Sasso Rosso wine, Campo Sasso extra virgin olive oil and matured cheeses bring this connection between taste, craftsmanship and the land directly to the table.

Beyond the property, Pierre and Rebecca’s trusted network opens the door to independent winemakers, farmers, cooks and artisans. Private Grape Tours journeys, culinary experiences and carefully selected encounters allow guests to discover a living Tuscany shaped by real people rather than by a conventional tourist itinerary.
This is Jollie’s vision of regenerative hospitality: creating deeper connections between guests and place, supporting independent producers and local knowledge, and helping Tuscany’s rural culture remain alive, relevant and able to evolve.

Your Tuscany, Personally Curated
Begin the day slowly in the garden. Visit a local market or artisan producer. Spend an afternoon exploring Chianti Classico with a private Grape Tours guide. Learn to prepare Tuscan dishes in the Campo Sasso kitchen, walk through vineyards and woodland, or simply stay home and open a bottle of wine around the table.
We can help shape each stay around the people, places and flavours that best reflect the Tuscany we know.
Optional services and activities do not need to be selected when booking the villa. Once your stay is confirmed, they can be arranged separately with Pierre and Rebecca, subject to availability and at an additional cost.
A Farmhouse Reborn
When Pierre and Rebecca discovered Campo Sasso in 2022, the old Tuscan colonica had already lived many lives. Some parts had been restored, while others — including the former cow barn — still reflected the farmhouse’s agricultural past.
Together with Dave and Jenny Marrs and a team of local craftspeople, they undertook a fourteen-month transformation that respected the character of the original stone house while adapting it to contemporary life. The restoration was documented in Fixer to Fabulous Italiano, bringing the story of Campo Sasso to an international audience.
The television series captured the rebirth of the house. What followed is the story guests experience today: a living home where hospitality, food, wine, craftsmanship and the Tuscan landscape come together through the wider Jollie ecosystem.
